Big City Bright Future Preparation Sessions

This summer IntoUniversity is partnering with BlackRock and 16 other leading city firms to offer over 100 Year 13 students a 3 week paid internship in the City of London.

The programme is only open to students who have already worked with IntoUniversity, so your chances of gaining a place on the internship are far higher than if you applied to an external company. However the selection process will still be competitive as there will be more applicants than places.

In preparation for the programme your local IntoUniversity centre will be holding a number of preparation sessions which are designed to support you with the application process. The sessions will be interactive workshops looking at topics such as CV writing and interview skills. Attending these sessions will equip you with vital skills, as well as demonstrating your commitment and enthusiasm for the Big City Bright Future programme. BlackRock employees will attend these sessions where possible, so they are also a fantastic way to start networking and making a good impression!

The sessions are taking place in multiple IntoUniversity centres which are in different cities - so please double check that you are registering for the correct session. You can choose to attend as many sessions as you wish, and you don’t have to stick to sessions that are being held in your local centre - feel free to attend sessions in various venues (so long as you can travel to the session easily). We recommend that you try and attend one each of session 1 (completing an effective application form), session 2 (writing your CV) and session 3 (mock interviews).
